The Administrative Data Research Network was an ESRC-funded project that ran from October 2013 to July 2018. It is currently at the end of its funding cycle and is no longer taking applications. Administrative data research will be taken forward in a new project, which was launched at the end of 2018.

What we do

The Administrative Data Research Network helped trained social and economic researchers access linked, de-identified administrative data in a secure environment.



Aims and values

We wanted the UK at the forefront of innovative social and economic research and intelligent research to benefit society and quality of life.

And we had clear values which govern how we work towards those aims.


Our history

The Administrative Data Research Network was founded in 2013 at the recommendation of the Administrative Data Taskforce.
